A quiet place to do very little, beautifully.

Brecon View Eco Retreat is a collection of five private lodges in Garnant, Carmarthenshire, tucked into the green edge of the valley where the Black Mountain begins and the Brecon Beacons roll away to the east.

The idea is simple. Give people a beautiful, private place to switch off, then get out of the way. Every lodge has its own hot tub. Four have their own sauna. One has a wood fired tub and an outdoor cinema. There is fast WiFi if you need it, a proper kitchen for dinners in, and parking right outside your door.

Made for doing less

Most guests come here to slow down. Long lie ins. Coffee on the deck. A walk up to Llyn y Fan Fach, then back for a soak as the light goes. It is the kind of place where you realise halfway through the second day that you have not looked at your phone since breakfast.

Looked after, properly

Guests rate Brecon View 4.9 out of 5 on Google. Check in is simple and self guided, the lodges are spotless, and I am always a message away if you need anything, whether that is a restaurant tip, a walking route or an extra towel.

Dogs welcome

Every lodge is dog friendly, because a holiday is better with everyone together. It is £30 per dog.
